But would everyone really want to say "That's a lovely shade of Pantone 1585 or RGB #F96B07 or CMYK 0/0.57/0.972/0.024"? Sort of lost in translation - that's a reasonable shade of orange BTW. The same applies to a lot of fruit type words…see “lemon”, “peach”, “plum” etc.
