On Sunday (5th July) Marc, Rachel and I went for a walk along the Itchen Way between Southampton and Winchester. Emma and I had previously tried this walk from the opposite end but were sabotaged due to very high nettles!!
This time we did manage to complete it (thanks to the nettles being slightly smaller) but I really wouldn’t recommend it. It’s very poorly maintained, mostly single track and you’ll spend nearly an hour walking right next to the M27 motorway.
