Hammering: two types

by jonh on September 24th, 2009

There are two distinctly different types of hammering:

  • Gently and rapidly hammering — something is not quite in the right place and just needs a little tap or two to get it correctly positioned
  • Loud and slow hammering — something is in completely the wrong place and really needs to come out even if that involves it being smashed into pieces

Listen out for these at your local building site, see if you can hear the work-experience builder who goes from gentle tapping to belting it :)
