Longer version:

My grandma was in the WI, so every time we visited her there were always some insanely good cakes around.

Welsh cakes are one of the ones I especially remember and bring back some really nice memories.

Also they are super simple to cook!

I can’t say that they are even a patch on hers, but another 20 years practice and who knows!
