The Queen visited Romsey a little while ago – I wasn’t there but some other people probably were.
This alone made Romsey quite famous – but now the people of Romsey have a £60K bill for all the security stuff and the cost of getting a new toilet for the queen. [BBC Link]

The Big Hoo-Ha was that the loo cost Five grand and she didn’t even use it. I mean honestly…

I’m sure there used to be a toilet near the V&A museum. It was just a box on the main pavement. From the outside the cubicle looked mirrored but from the inside you could see out. Weird.
